Why do you need these courses?

61E14-4.001 CONTINUING EDUCATION RENEWAL Requirements
- Community association managers must complete 15 hours of continuing education every two years, with each hour involving 50 minutes of approved classroom, correspondence, interactive, or online coursework. Licenses will not be renewed without fulfilling this requirement.
- Only continuing education courses approved by the Council shall be valid for purposes of licensee renewal.
- The required 15 hours of continuing education shall be comprised of courses approved pursuant to Rule 61E14-4.003, F.A.C., in the following areas:
3 hours of legal update seminars: Covers changes to Chapters 455, 468, Part VIII, 617, 718, 719, 720, 721, F.S., and other legislation, case law, and regulations affecting community association management. Credit cannot be earned twice for the same seminar in different years.
3 hours on insurance and financial management: Includes topics related to insurance and managing finances for community associations.
3 hours on property operations: Managing the physical property of community associations.
3 hours on human resources: Includes disaster preparedness, employee relations, and communication skills for handling residents and vendors.
